Welcome to "13 to Life: A Werewolf's Tale"

Stories of werewolves have been around for nearly as long as those of their blood-sucking enemies, vampires. But whereas vamps have most recently gotten all the cool press thanks to talented authors like Anne Rice and Stephenie Meyers, werewolves are often secondary characters at best.

Humanity has long had a fear of wolves that translated into the murder of millions of these hauntingly beautiful canines. Wolves are tremendously like teenagers (and too-often adults): they are extremely motivated by achieving an alpha position in their society, clique or pack and will often resort to less than honorable tactics to achieve a rise in popularity and power. And that's just the beginning of our similarities.

In my serial novel "13 to Life: A Werewolf's Tale" (currently being built on TextNovel.com) I'm combining traditional myths and legends with some research on wolves, the Cold War and a few mysterious historical situations.

If you'd like to read or subscribe to "13 to Life," go to TextNovel.com, join up and sign up for subscription. I'm posting a new (brief) section every day and yes, you can read it on your cell phone. :-)

I will also be posting polls here for folks to participate in so I can see if I should consider changing the way the story's progressing, so vote and your opinion may influence my writing! Interactivity is a great aspect of the cell phone novel movement.
