S is for Speedbump in the Serial Tour ;-)

Okay, so today we had a little speedbump in the tour and a snippet never got posted. It's too bad because I was really hoping to be at that person's blog, but, well, things happen on tours.

So here's the bit you missed:

13 to Life: Chapter 3, part S (used with the author’s permission)

Pietr shadowed me as I slammed my tray into the trash, knocking it around loudly to reinforce that I was angry. Withdrawing my tray, I smacked it down on a nearby stack.

Pietr followed suit, unfazed.

"What?" I asked, pausing back at the table. "Afraid I'm gonna' ditch you?" I grabbed my backpack, a pencil falling out and skittering over the table.

I'm loving these little snippets. It's such a good way to pass the wait for the book; can't wait for more!

Thanks so much, gang! I'm glad you're enjoying it! I've gone back and forth on if the amount of work involved in doing such a big tour is worth it (well, my husband has--I'm like: go, go, GO! ;-) but if it's helping you get past the time still left waiting for the book's release then it's totally worth it to me!

Thanks so much for all your support!

Another speedbump! It's like an actual road trip! Hee hee.

The snippets were very torturous to read even before I read the book!
